02 / Product Clarity

Product teams do not need more static screens. They need faster clarity.

I work where product strategy, UX, prototyping and implementation meet. From early research and product logic to high-fidelity interfaces and frontend-near prototypes, I help teams make better decisions before committing to full development.

Classic UX output

  • Research notes
  • Wireframes
  • Static screens
  • Handoff gaps
  • Long feedback loops

AI-native product workflow

  • Product logic
  • Interactive prototypes
  • Realistic states
  • Frontend-near demos
  • Faster decisions
03 / What becomes tangible

What I deliver.

Concrete artifacts a team can test, align on and build from, not slideware.

D1

Product Logic

Flows, states, information architecture and interaction models that make complexity understandable.

D2

Realistic Prototypes

High-fidelity or frontend-near prototypes that behave close enough to the real product to test, align and decide.

D3

Design System Structure

Components, patterns and interface rules that help teams scale beyond one-off screens.

D4

Validation Material

Artifacts for stakeholder alignment, user testing, product decisions and engineering handoff.

Static screens are no longer enough. Realistic prototypes change the conversation.

04 / Ways to work together

Focused engagements built around realistic prototypes.

S1

Product Prototype Sprint

From idea to realistic prototype in days, not months, testable, presentable, handover-ready.

1–2 weeks
S2

AI Product UX Sprint

Design AI workflows that are useful, understandable and controllable, beyond the default chatbot.

1–3 weeks
S3

Design System & Frontend Accelerator

Build interface systems that scale from Figma to implementation.

2–6 weeks
S4

UX Research & Product Discovery

Understand users, workflows and risks before building the wrong thing.

Flexible

05 / Method · The framework

From ambiguity to artifact.

A senior product workflow, accelerated by AI, turning unclear product ideas into things a team can see, test and build.

01

Understand

Clarify product goals, users, constraints and business priorities.

02

Structure

Translate complexity into flows, IA, interaction models and product logic.

03

Prototype

Create high-fidelity, realistic prototypes with design systems and AI-assisted workflows.

04

Validate

Test assumptions, align stakeholders and identify product risks early.

05

Handoff

Prepare components, documentation and implementation logic for build.

AI is leverage. Taste, structure and validation are the differentiator.

Jakob Ehe
About

Product design, systems thinking and prototype-driven execution.

I’m Jakob Ehe, a product designer and prototyping specialist working across UX, research, design systems, frontend and AI-assisted product development.

I’m most useful when things are still unclear: when a product idea is promising but fuzzy, when an AI workflow needs structure, or when a design system has to move from visual consistency to actual product leverage.

I’m most interested in the messy middle of product development, where user needs, business goals, technical constraints and interface quality have to become one coherent product direction.

07 / Best fit

Where I do my best work.

I work best with teams facing ambiguous product problems, complex workflows, AI-driven interfaces or design systems that need to become implementation-ready.

Good fit

  • Complex B2B products
  • AI features and copilots
  • Enterprise tools
  • Research-heavy workflows
  • Design systems
  • Frontend-near prototypes

Less ideal

  • Pure marketing websites
  • One-off visual refreshes
  • Low-budget UI-only tasks
  • Pixel production without product context

08 / FAQ

Frequently asked questions

What does Jakob Ehe do?

I'm a senior product designer and prototyping specialist for complex digital products — AI-native prototyping, UX research, design systems and frontend-near product development.

Where are you based, and do you work with US or remote teams?

I'm based in Munich and work across the DACH region (Germany, Austria, Switzerland) as well as the US, including New York. Most work is remote, with on-site collaboration possible in Munich.

What is an AI-native product designer?

Someone who designs products with AI both as a material and as leverage: shaping AI workflows like copilots and decision-support so they're useful and controllable, while using AI to move from idea to realistic prototype far faster.

What is a prototype sprint?

A focused one-to-two-week engagement that turns an unclear product idea into a realistic, testable prototype your team can present, validate and build from — before committing to full development.

Which companies have you worked with?

Selected experience includes Mercedes-Benz (MBUX automotive UX), CERN (UI design system) and PwC (enterprise UX), alongside AI and B2B product teams.
